Application Review Process

After submitting your application, a  selection committee will review applications based on the following criteria:

• Experience in nuclear energy, technology, or related fields (e.g., government, regulatory bodies, R&D, academia).
• Candidates from other industries, such as petrochemical or aerospace, may be considered if they have recently transitioned to the nuclear sector.
• A university degree in science, engineering, business administration, law, or equivalent relevant experience is an asset.
• Applicants must not have attended previous NEM Schools of the same kind.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Final criteria for selection

The final selection of candidates will be based on the following:

• A minimum score of 60% on the IAEA preliminary training course test is required.
• Efforts will be made to maintain gender balance and geographical diversity among participants.

Notification of Acceptance

In February 2025, selected applicants will receive invitations to participate in the program.
