KCDC 01A - Ages 8-10: Discovering Saskatchewan: Past, Present and Future

Setting the course for adventure, time-travelers will explore the University campus to learn about the ancient past, the recent present, and the exciting future that lies ahead! Travel destinations include the Natural Sciences Museum, the Little Stone Schoolhouse, Rayner Dairy Research Centre, USask greenhouse, and more! During a special full-day field trip to either Wanuskewin Heritage Park or Batoche National Historic Site (dependent on availability), campers will connect with the Indigenous cultures of Saskatchewan to experience traditional learning and cultural heritage spanning more than 6000 years! Returning to present-day, campers will tour the new Soil Superheroes exhibit and finish off the week creating their own time capsule filled with predictions for the future.

This April, join us for a time-travelling adventure! Campers will experience Saskatchewan’s incredible history as they explore the University campus to learn about the past, the present, and the exciting future that lies ahead! Travel destinations include a visit to the Natural Sciences Museum, the Little Stone Schoolhouse, Rayner Dairy Research Centre, USask greenhouse and more! Campers will also tour the DCC’s new Hunt. Gather. Fish. Explore the exhibit to learn about Saskatchewan's great outdoors, and participate in a variety of hands-on activities and games.
