Description

In this course, students will be introduced to a range of styles and approaches to landscape painting with the acrylic medium. We will explore a variety of subjects, from skies to prairie fields to mountain scenes while learning from the methods of renowned painters, such as Emily Carr, Tom Thomson, John Constable, and Dorothy Knowles. This class is for both beginner and intermediate-level painters who want to develop and hone their craft in a supportive environment where individual expression is highly encouraged.

There will be no class May 19, 2025.

Refund Policy: Students may withdraw from a course at any time. A $100.00 withdrawal fee is charged for withdrawing from a course 2 weeks prior to the course start date. No course refund is processed after this time. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.  

Cancellation Policy: The Arts & Sciences Non-Credit Programming Unit reserves the right to cancel courses when there is insufficient enrollment, in these cases a full refund will be issued. No transfers will be allowed from one term to another term. If a class is cancelled during the term, these hours will be rescheduled and made up. However, if a student misses a class, no rescheduling or make-up classes occur.
