This course provides a comprehensive and practical review of the foundational mathematical skills essential to safe and effective pharmacy practice. Designed as a helpful refresher for pharmacy professionals and students, it covers key prescription calculations including opioid agonist therapy, titrations and tapers, and weight-based dosing, particularly in the context of community pharmacy.
The course features interactive activities and knowledge checks throughout, helping learners apply concepts in real time. A supplemental workbook is also provided to support practice and deepen understanding of core topics.
As a highlight, learners will participate in an interactive escape room activity that simulates real-world scenarios and encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
