Course Description

Most problems in organizations are identifiable with proven problem-solving approaches. Without identifying the problem, managers may become frustrated and exhausted and no further along in fixing the problem. In this program, participants will learn how to identify problems and explore creative problem-solving processes to quickly solve or know how to solve tough problems. 

This program focuses on creating buy-in with teams, organizational leaders, and decision-makers and making successful change. Effective change management and communication skills are a key part in getting parts or all of the organization on board with operational improvements. The objective of this program is aimed at enhancing the participants' abilities for improving operations and to become better business thinkers and decision-makers. 

This program is part of the Operational Excellence Certificate.

Learner Outcomes

  • Understand the importance of change management and communication in enabling operational excellence
  • Explore creative problem-solving processes and apply the correct problem-solving approach for different problem-identification
  • Create strategies for overcoming barriers to process improvements
  • Explore methods to create buy-in and create an impact on teams and organization leaders and/or decision-makers

Participant Withdrawal or Transfer Policy

  • In the event of any registration cancellation or transfer, a $35.00 plus tax administration fee will be incurred.

From 45 Days Up To 16 Days Before Program Start

  • Cancellation: You will be refunded 50% plus tax of the program fee.
  • Transfer: You will be charged an additional transfer penalty equal to 20% plus tax of the program fee.

Within 15 Days Of The Program Start

  • Cancellation: You will not be refunded.
  • Transfer: You will be charged an additional transfer penalty equal to 50% plus tax of the program fee.
