ARTA 01H - Phone-ography: Making the Most of Your Phone Camera

Course Description

Most of us have heard the quote, “The best camera is the one that’s with you.” Thanks to the technology wars between phone manufacturers, we now carry a remarkably powerful camera with us almost all of the time. Throughout this course, students will discover the capabilities of these cameras and the apps associated with them, build an understanding of the technical basics of photography, and improve their photography. Each lesson will include a lecture, critique, a guided photography experience, and a series of prompts to be completed for the next lesson.
