Course Description

Students will explore the principles and visual elements of sculpture through the elements of the human body with a focus on the hands & feet. Working in plasticine or clay, we will learn about the proportions and relationships between the volumes and anatomical elements. We will work from reference images, a human skeleton, and artist casts. 

Please Note:

  • Online students are required to purchase the molds.
  • In-person students, access to molds will occur in the studio.

Sculpture I or equivalent experience.
