Description

This course explores the sculptural proportions and anatomical relationships of the hands and feet. Students will work in clay or plasticine to study volumes, structure, and detail. Instruction is supported by reference images, a human skeleton, and plaster casts (including classical and skinned studies) to assist in understanding human anatomy and proportion. This course is suitable for those who are new to sculpture, returning from a hiatus, or seeking to expand their artistic repertoire.
