Description

 In this course, students will develop fluency and confidence in an advanced academic context through developing speaking/ listening skills and subskills. Students will improve vocabulary, functional language, and idiomatic expressions through various tasks and activities, such as group discussions and oral presentations.

Learner Outcomes

By the end of the course, students will be able to:


  • Communicate with confidence in an academic setting.
  • Produce correct utterances with the appropriate stress, rhythm, and intonation.

  • Use common phrasal verbs in academic contexts.
  • Engage successfully in group discussions, including leading a group discussion.
  • Deliver effective academic oral presentation
