Course Description

This workshop will support Master Gardeners in developing self-awareness, reflecting on who they are as communicators, and will discuss how they can work towards creating diverse, welcoming, respectful and inclusive learning environments.  Rather than prescribe a certain model, or a one-size-fits-all approach, the goal of this workshop is to explore diversity in the ways that people communicate with one other, including similarities and differences in personalities, relationships, culture, formative experiences, and preferences in learning, including how all these factors shape and inform who we are, and ultimately, who we wish to be as communicators.

Please complete Communications:  Part 1 before registering for Part 2; we'll be using the learning styles handout from Part 1 for a group activity in Communications:  Part 2.
