Course Description

  At the end of this course you will be able to:

  1. Understand HIV rates globally, nationally, and locally.
  2. Expand understanding of HIV treatment and monitoring.
  3. Discuss how mental health conditions and HIV intersect and affect individuals living with both.
  4. Review testing and prevention of HIV transmission with a focus on people living with mental health conditions.
  5. Review specific drug interactions and side-effects relating to HIV and psychotropic medications.
