Join the first Canadian Executive Nuclear Energy Management School, organized in Cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the College of Engineering, University of Saskatchewan (USask). This one-week executive program provides a deep and integrated understanding of the nuclear energy lifecycle—from strategic planning and reactor deployment to regulatory readiness, organizational capability, and the complex governance, legal and financial considerations associated with introducing nuclear power in emerging jurisdictions.
Designed for mid- to senior-career professionals and industry leaders, the Executive NEM School supports leaders working across the nuclear energy sector and related technology domains who seek to strengthen their strategic, technical, and managerial competencies in a rapidly evolving nuclear landscape.
Course Outline
Program Objectives
- Capacity Building: Equip senior and mid-career professionals, particularly those entering the nuclear sector—with the leadership mindsets, organizational frameworks, regulatory literacy, and decision-making competencies required to guide nuclear programs responsibly and effectively.
- Cross-Sector Integration: Strengthen interdisciplinary knowledge, collaboration, and practical problem-solving across government, industry, regulatory bodies, and international organizations involved in nuclear projects.

Notes
The Canadian School of Nuclear Energy Management (NEMS) is the first nuclear program offered in Western Canada and is targeted for young mid-career nuclear professionals entering the field of nuclear energy and technology. This School will be a one-week program from June 8-12, 2026.
To register for this workshop you must first fill out an application an be accepted to register for the program. The application fee is $100.00 plus taxes.
Once accepted you will be able to complete the registration for the workshop.
